The joint operating body (JOB) of Pertamina Hulu Energi-Medco Energi plans to spud Tiaka-11 well within the Senoro-Toili block in Sulawesi in July, one month later than the initial plan as it was waiting for the arrival of a rig.

?We plan to spud the Tiaka-11 well in the second week of July,? PHE President Director Salis Aprilian told petromindo.com.

The JOB is currently mobilizing the rig to the field which should take about a month to complete. The joint operating body plans to drill three wells this year and two more wells in 2013.

The ownership in the Tiaka field is 50 percent by PHE, 30 percent by a subsidiary of PT Medco Energi Internasional Tbk and the remaning 20 percent by Tomori E&P Limited. The Tiaka field will supply natural gas to the Donggi-Senoro LNG project, to be developed by PT Donggi-Senoro LNG (PT DSLNG).
