The JOB Tomori working area in Central Sulawesi has reached its full production capacity and was the fourth largest contributor to the national gas lifting in the first half of the year (H1 2016)

The working area which is operated by PHE JOB Pertamina-Medco E&P Tomori Sulawesi contributed 58,500 barrels of oil equivalent per day (boepd) of gas in H1 2016.

?The success is attributed to the Senoro field facilities having been stable and contributing at the near-installed capacity level,? Judha Sumarino, General Manager of PHE JOB Pertamina-Medco E&P Tomoro Sulawesi, said in a statement on Monday.

Throughout operation JOB Tomori has twice hit record gas sales, first on Nov. 17, 2015 at 335.5 mmscfd or 375,000 mmBtuand secondly, on Jan. 1, 2016 at 337.4 mmscfd or 377,000 mmbtu.

JOB Tomori made first delivery of condensate on Aug. 17, 2015. The condensate was produced from Sonoro field. ?Until today, five shipments have been sent to South Korea, Thailand, Singapore and TPPI Tuban refinery with a total volume of 1.12 million barrels,? Judha said.

Judha further said another achievement that has been made by JOB Tomori is the completion of the Sonoro Central Processing Plant (CPP), the only gas facility in Indonesia, even in Asia, which is capable of producing sulfuric acid using H2S waste gas, which is unfriendly to the environment. Aside from turning an environmentally-unfriendly gas into something with economic value, the process can also produce steam useful for power generation at Senoro CPP, he said.

JOB Tomori is 50 percent owned by state owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina (Persero), 30 percent by Medco E&P Tomori Sulawesi and 20 percent by Tomori E&P Limited. The working area comprises two fields, namely Tiaka field in Morowali Utara regency, and Senoro field in Banggai regency.
