Joint venture to start exploration in Vietnam early next year

The joint venture established by Indonesian state oil and gas company Pertamina, Malaysian state oil and gas company Petronas and Vietnam state oil and gas company Petrovietnam will start explorations at the Block 10, 11 in Vietnam early next year, according to Pertamina.
Pertamina?s president Baihaki Hakim told Petromindo.Com on Wednesday the three companies hold equal shares in the joint venture.
Baihaki said Pertamina will soon form a subsidiary to handle its upstream projects overseas, including the explorations of the Block 10 and 11. (Alex/ Godang)
