After the completion of commissioning stage, upstream authority BPMIGAS expects that the floating production storage offshore (FPSO) Joko Tole to start flowing gas early June this year.
?Joke Tole is on a start-up preparation to deliver gas following last week?s commissioning. The plan is for the FPSO to deliver gas normally in June,? BPMIGAS Deputy of Operation Rudi Rubiandini told petromindo.com.
Joko Tole is deployed to support production in Terang, Sirasun and Batur (TSB) fields within Kangean Block offshore East Java. The FPSO is designed to process 340 million standard cubic feet per day (mmscfd) of gas from the TSB gas fields in the Kangean Block, operated by Kangean Energy Indonesia (KEI).
Rudi said that the volume of gas flow would start at 150 mmscfd, and later upped to 230 mmscfd before peaking at 300 mmscfd.
