JSX to resume trading in Central Korporindo Wednesday

Tuesday, April 8 2003 - 12:01 PM WIB

The Jakarta Stock Exchange (JSX) has allowed coal trader PT Central Korporindo (CNKO) to recommence trading tomorrow (Wednesday) after suspension for more than two months due to a lack of information on the company?s activities.

On January 20, JSX suspended CNKO?s share trading, and asked it to hold a public expose meeting.

The bourse said in a statement on Tuesday that it had given CNKO the green light because the company had provided all the information required, through a public expose and in other forms of reports.

CNKO operates a coal concession in Tanah Laut Regency, South Kalimantan.

CNKO shares were traded at Rp 5 (US$=Rp8,875) each, the lowest price in the bourse, before its share trading was suspended. (robert)
