July HPE for most mineral concentrates down

The export reference price (or better known as HPE) for most of the country?s mineral concentrates subject to export duty for the month of July is down compared to June in line with price in the international market.

The Ministry of Trade said in a statement Thursday that only HPE for iron concentrates which increases slightly.

The ministry said the HPE for copper concentrates (Cu 15%) declines by 3.3 percent to an average of US$1,637.88 per wet metric ton; HPE for manganese concenrates (Mn 49%) down by 2.87 percent to an average of $148.58 per wmt, HPE led concentrates (Pb 57%) falls by 7.66 percent to $784.11 per wmt, and zinc concentrates (Zn 52%) declines by 11.40 percent to $514.32 per wmt.

Meanwhile, HPE of iron ore concentrates (hematite, magnetite, and pyrite) with Fe content of 62 percent increases by 8.94 percent to average price of $44.04 per wmt, while HPE for iron ore concentrates (gutit and laterit) with Fe content of 51 percent Al203 Si03 content of 10 percent up by 6.93 percent to average $15.62 per wmt.

The HPE for ilmenite and titanium concentrates remain unchanged. (*)
