June crude production 1.080MBPD: BPMIGAS

Upstream oil, gas watchdog BPMIGAS said Indonesia?s June crude oil production reached 1.080 million barrels per day with average production from January to June this year had reached 980,000 BPD.

Chairman R. Priyono said the figure was way above production target stated in amended State Budget.

Priyono also said lifting of crude in June has reached 1 million barrels per day as state oil and gas company Pertamina has chartered two tankers two speed up crude lifting. Average lifting from January to June 2008 had reached 930,000 BPD, he said. (bernard)
