Australian firm JV Global Ltd (JVG) announced on Tuesday that it was offered a number of concessions in metal and mineral sector in Indonesia by a Jakarta-based company.

While declining to identify the local future partner, JVG said the local company was experienced in creating new concessions under the new mining law.

JVG has agreed to consider the opportunities in the new year and should the concessions and initial work conducted by the Indonesian parties were proved to be as interesting as outlined, then JVG will mull investing limited funds to assess those projects and carry out due diligence.

JVG said the process should go in line with its current listing obligations and be subject to the terms and conditions offered by the Indonesian party. (romel)
