KADI Head Ernawati said in a statement Friday that the investigation is made following request by Indonesian SWR producers PT Ispat Indo and PT The Master Steel MFc.

KADI will focus its investigation into SWR products with tariff post numbers of 7213.91.10.00, 7213.91.20.00, 7213.91.90.00, 7213.99.10.00, 7213.99.20.00, 7213.99.90.00, and 7227.90.00.00.

Ernawati said that according to KADI analysis, there were dumping practices in the import SWR, material losses suffered by the two companies, and casuistic relationship between the losses and the alleged dumping of SWR products.

Of Indonesia?s total import of SWR products of 502,274 tons, about 85 percent were imported from China, according to KADI.
