The Indonesian Anti Dumping Committee (or also known as KADI) has started an interim review of anti-dumping duty imposed on hot rolled coil (HRC) products imported from South Korea.
The interim review is being conducted on all South Korean HRC exporters except Hundai Steel Company, POSCO, Dongkuk Industries Co, and Hyundai HYSCO.
KADI Head Ernawati said in a statement recently that the committee has found early evidence that the South Korean firms have continued to carry out dumping practices. The interim review was requested by IDX-listed steel maker PT Krakatau Steel Tbk.
Indonesia?s HRC import fell to 1.49 million tons last year from 1.69 million tons in the previous year. Import from South Korea also fell to 633,062 tons from 698,147 tons.
