The Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) has finally received the government's offer to hold a B to B negotiation with state owned electricity company PLN in determining the increase in power tariffs. Bisnis Indonesia reported on Saturday.

Kadin's chairman MS Hidayat said in Jakarta on Friday that although the government had delayed the tariff increase until the state audit agency BPK completed its audit works on PLN, it would no problem for the organization to conduct a dialogue.

"If the tariff is increased, the percentage of the rise will be determined according to the size of the business, rather than their business sectors," he said.

Recently, Kadin officially issued a statement opposing the plan increase in the power tariff. The organization also opposed the B to B negotiation with PLN in determining the percentage of the increase. (*)
