PTBA and KAI have committed to keep increasing the coal transport capacity, PTBA president director Sukrisno told Petromindo.com recently. ?KAI will provide 240 more wagons and six locomotives by the end of 2011,? he said.
With the additional wagons and locomotives, KAI will have a total of 1,200 wagons and 48 locomotives. One wagon has the capacity to transport 50 tonnes coal.
