Kalila inaugurates operation of Seng Gas Plant

The facility, which has a utilization capacity of 30 MMSCFD, will process gas from Seng and Segat fields. The production facility will separate natural gas from water.
Gas from the processing facility will be supplied to PT Riau Andalas Pulp and Paper (RAPP) under a long term gas supply contract of 21 MMSCFD until 2020.
Cornellia Oantartie, expert staf of the head of upstream oil and gas regulator BPMIGAS for government and regional areas, said the Kalila plans to build SGP phase 2 that will bring up the capacity of the gas processing facility to 60 MMSCFD.
PT Energi Mega Persada has 100 percent interest in Bentu PSC.
At the same occassion, EMP Kalila signed an agreement with a local government own company to build gas-fired power plant (PLTG) with output capacity of 12 megawatt in Langgam subdistrict, Pelalawan Regency. (romel/roffie)
