Kalila will supply gas to Riau-based industries

Riau-based oil and gas company Kalila will soon supply gas to state owned electricity company PLN and several major industries including PT Riau Andalan Pulp and Paper (RAPP), Bisnis Indonesia reported on Friday.
Hariyanto, an executive of the office of oil and gas regulator BP Migas in Riau, said in Pekanbaru on Thursday that the gas would be supplied from Kalila's Baru and West Baru gas fields in Tenayan, Pekanbaru.
In the first stage, Kalila would supply about 15 million cubic feet per day to state electricity firm PLN, and about 12 million cubic feet per day to RAPP, Hariyanto said. He added that the gas would be transmitted to the two companies through on-land gas pipeline. (*)
