Kalimantan Gold, Freeport start drilling at KSK copper prospect

Junior exploration company, Kalimantan Gold Corporation confirmed that drilling started at its KSK Contract of Work (CoW) copper prospect in Central Kalimantan under a joint venture with a subsidiary of Freeport-McMoRan (Freeport) on May 23.
The company which is listed on Canada and London Stock Exchanges in the statement said that the this first deep hole is being drilled at Beruang Tengah.
The drilling for a second deep hole is expected to commence at Beruang Kanan in early June, 2012.
The company has two exploration projects in Kalimantan namely the Jelai epithermal gold project in East Kalimantan which is optioned to Tigers Realm Minerals and the KSK CoW in Central Kalimantan.
