Kalrez said the workover of 22S-8A well had been completed and the rig has moved to the next location 31S. The deepening of 22S-8A wells in Bula resulted in a stabilized test over 36 hours of 162 barrel of oil per day (BOPD).
According to Kalrez, Well 22S-8A is presently flowing at choke restricted variable rates of 90 - 110 BOPD as is cleans up following the completion of the well at the conclusion of the well testing program.
Meanwhile, Kalrez said rig-up of the drilling on 31S-6 would be completed on November 19, 2001. The workover program would then commence with the squeezing of all existing perforations in the well.
According to Kalrez, the workover program on 31S-6 well should be completed in less than one week, although well testing may lengthen the program duration.
Following the completion of workover on 31S-6, said Kalrez, 89S-5 well was scheduled for deepening to test the basal Fufa formation.
This well is located 550 meters from 22S-8A and some 260 meters from previous wells drilled by Kalrez 1K-B and 19K-6, both of which flowed oil from the basal Fufa formation and continue on production.
Kalrez is 100 percent interest holder and operator of Bula PSC.(alex)
