Australian listed oil and gas firm Kalrez Energy Limited said Tuesday that it had been shortlisted along with five other companies to the commercial submission phase of Cemara liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) gas plant project.
According to Kalrez, the project calls for the installation of an LPG gas plant to extract liquids from Pertamina's Cemara gas field gas stream. Remuneration is by way of a toll fee based on gas throughput.
Cemara gas field is located in Pamanukan, West Java.
Kalrez said it bid the project on the basis of utilizing its 75 percent-owned LPG Gas Plant, which is located in Jakarta.
The company further said final tenders were lodged by five participants on November 1, 2001 and the results of the bidding was expected to be announced in the next few weeks. (alex/godang)
