Kangean to drill exploration well this month

Kangean Energy Indonesia Ltd is scheduled to drill an exploration well in the Kangean block offshore East Java later this month.

"This year, we will drill one exploration well in Kangean block, which will be conducted later this month or early next month," President Director of PT Energi Mega Persada (EMP) said on Friday.

He did not provide further details.

Kangean Energy Indonesia Ltd. is the operator of the Kangean PSC with a 60 percent working interest, while the remaining 40 percent is held by EMP Exploration (Kangean) Limited.
