Karen Agustiawan appointed as new Pertamina CEO

Minister of State Enterprises Sofyan Djalil said on Thursday the government has appointed Karen Agustiawan as a new President Director of state-owned oil, gas firm Pertamina replacing Ari H Soemarno, Karen will be officially inaugurated latter this afternoon.

Karen for the time being keeps her old position as upstream director.

The government also appointed Omar S. Anwar as the new vice president replacing Iin Arifin Takhyan, Sofyan said. Omar is President Director of Rio Tinto Indonesia.(godang/Bernard)
