Karka Yasa eyeing Kalimantan coal business

JSX-listed real-estate firm PT.KarkaYasa Profilia is preparing to enter into Kalimantan coal mining business.
The company in its report to the Jakarta Stock Exchange on Monday said it was currently in talks about acquisition and joint operations possibility with several miners and traders in Tanah Bumbu, South Kalimantan and West Kutai, East Kalimantan.
No further detail was given, but the company said that the plan might be executed by the end of third quarter of this year after completion of due diligence and approval of shareholders. (alex)
