Karya Bumi Baratama targets to start production next year

Indonesia coal miner PT Karya Bumi Baratama is expecting to start its coal production from its mine in Sarolangun Jambi by the beginning of 2013.
A source in the company told Petromindo.com that it expects a production of 600,000 to 1 million tons per annum with the coal CV being at about 5,300 Kcal/kg.
The project currently has completed about 30% of the planned construction which is on only 200 hectares of the total 18,000 hectares concesson it holds. The coal produced is planned for export to Korea.
