Karya Inti to conduct 2D, 3D surveys on Lirik II

Upstream authority SKK Migas reported that PT Karya Inti Petroleum (KIP) is in the final preparation to carry out 2D and 3D seismic surveys on Lirik II block onshore Jambi, totaling 210 km and 50 km2, respectively.
The surveys will take place soon and likely take about one month to complete, said Head of Survey and Drilling Division Arief Fanzuri to petromindo.com.
The company and SKK Migas have together familiarized the plan to the local administration and communities.
The Lirik II block is located onshore Central Sumatra and covers a total area 3,692 sq km. The government awarded the block to Karya Inti on November 13, 2008.
