Transhipping services provider PT Karya Pacific Shipping has targeted to triple its revenue to Rp 105 billion this year from Rp 30 billion in 2012 from coal transhipment service in South Sumatra.

Director Kahar Chua told Petromindo.com that the company is optimistic it will achieve the target as it is going to have another unit of tugboat and barge in December 2013.

"By December, we will have a seven-strong tugboat and barge fleet, as we already have six units of tugboat and barge," he said adding that in 2012 the company only had three units of tugboat and barge.

Thus far, Kahar said the company has booked a total revenue of Rp 90 billion with transshipment service accounting for 70 percent.
