KDL signs power supply agreement with KNSS

Power company PT Krakatau Daya Listrik (KDL) has recently signed agreements for 1x25 MW power supply and installation of permanent power 2x25 MW with steel manufacturer PT Krakatau Nippon Steel Sumikin (KNSS).
KDL is a subsidiary of IDX-listed steel maker PT Krakatau Steel Tbk, while KNSS is a joint venture between Krakatau Steel and Nippon Steel which is currently constructing steel plant at the Krakatau Industrial Estate in Cilegon, West Java. KNSS hopes to complete construction of the plant, which will produce steel products for the automotive industry such as cold rolled steel, galvanealling steel and galvanizing steel, in 2017.
Krakatau said in a recent statement that the agreements were signed in November.
