KDL unveils PQ tender for coal fired boiler

COAL FIRED BOILER 2 X 350 TON STEAM/HR
FOR CFSPP 2X80 MW PROJECT
PT KRAKATAU DAYA LISTRIK
1. PT Krakatau Daya Listrik (?KDL?), a subsidiary of PT Krakatau Steel (Persero), Tbk. having registered office at Kawasan Industri Krakatau, Cilegon, Banten Province, plans to develop Coal Fired Boiler 2 x 350 ton steam/hr for CFSPP 2x80 MW.
2. In line with the plan, KDL intends to process a General Competitive Bidding to contractor for Engineering, Procurement, and Construction CEPC?) works for the Plant (the ?Project?).
3. The Scope of work is building Coal Fired Boiler 2 x 350 ton steam/hour to produce steam for existing steam turbine generator plant 2 x 80 MW (Siemens). The Project will be located at Jalan Amerika I in Kawasan Industri Krakatau, Banten Province, Indonesia, approximately 90km west of Jakarta.
4. The participant of this Re-PQ shall be a single Indonesia EPC company or a Consortium (led by Indonesia EPC Company) which has experience in building minimum 3 (three) units Power Plants (included 2 (two) units of Coal Fired Steam Power Plant).
5. Definition of Indonesian Company is a Legal Entity established based on Indonesian Law which the share is owned and authorized partly or entirety by ?Warga Negara Indonesia? or Indonesian Legal Entity.
6. Those who are interested in participating in the re-pre-qualification (Re-PQ) of the Project may obtain re-pre-qualification document (the ?Re-PQ Document?) for IDR 1.000.000,00 during a period from April 12, 2016 to April 22,2016 between the time 09.00 a.m. to 04.00 p.m. (Western Indonesia Standard Time) by submitting Interest Letter (signed by President Director) and Power of Attorney to the address below for the attention of Chairman of the PPJPPE Committee.
7. Applications for Re-PQ must be submitted to and received at the address below not later than 04.00 p.m. (Western Indonesia Standard Time) on May 4, 2016.
8. Applicant for Re-PQ will be advised, in due course, of the results of evaluations on its application. Only applicants that have passed pre-qualification will be invited to bid.
