Keban Agung coal-fired power plant to start operation June next year

The Keban Agung coal-fired power plant in Lahat, North Sumatra, is targeted to start production in June of 2015. Construction of the 2x120 MW power plant has already covered 80 percent of the targeted works.

This was said by Head of IPP Procurement Division at state owned electricity firm PLN, Hernadi Buhron to Petromindo.com Wednesday.

Construction of the power plant has been carried out by PT Priamanaya Power Energy. The power plant will need coal supply of 772,000 tons per year.
