Keban Agung power plant needs annual coal supply of 772,000t

The Keban Agung 2x120 MW coal fired power plant in Lahat Regency, South Sumatra will require coal supply of 772,000 tons per year.

The power plant is currently being constructed by PT Priamanaya Power Energy, and is expected to start commercial operation in 2015 or 2016, said Head of Coal Division at state-owned electricity firm PLN, Helmi Najamuddin.

?The coal suppliers have yet to be determined,? he told Petromindo.com Tuesday.
