KEI to resume Sepanjang crude production Nov

Crude production from Sepanjang field in Kangean PSC offshore East Java may resume next month after the operator secured a new container to replace the one that was damaged by fire, an official with upstream oil, gas authority BPMIGAS said on Wednesday.
Spokesperson Elan Subiantoro told Petromindo.Com that the blocks? operator Kangean Energy Indonesia (KEI) has secured a new tanker called MV Pradapa, which is now in Batam island undergoing commissioning and will arrive at Kangean end of October.
KEI was forced to shut down crude production operation at Sepanjang field in August 2010 after the container tanker caught fire.
Prior to the incident, the field produced some 1,800 BPD of crude oil. (bernard)
