Indonesian coal miner, PT. Kideco Jaya Agung says that its coal production from Batu Kajang, Tanah Grogot East Kalimantan, has of now reached 80 percent of its monthly target of 2.8 million tons, a target set for the first two months of the year.

A source of the company told to Petromindo.com Tuesday that production was hampered by heavy rainfall.

The company expects to produce up to 32 million tons of coal this year, higher than the recorded 29 millions tons of coal produced in 2011.

Kideco's 2014 target is to be able to raise production to reach 40 million tons of coal per year.
