Kideco plans to gradually increase coal output

Coal mining company PT Kideco Jaya Agung has submitted a proposal to the government to gradually increase output from the Roto and Samarangau blocks of its concession in East Kalimantan.
?Kideco plans to produce 18.5 million tons of coal in 2006 and ramp up the output to 19 million tons in 2007. Output from the two blocks could be increased up to 22 million tons per year,? Kideco administration manager Ali Patan told Petromindo.Com on Friday.
Kideco produced 16.9 million tons of coal in 2004. Last year?s production is estimated to reach 18.2 million tons. (godang)
