Kideco?s 2003 coal sales rise to 14.2 million tons

East Kalimantan coal miner PT Kideco Jaya Agung booked coal sales of 14.19 million tons in 2003, up 26 percent from the previous year?s sales of 11.25 million tons, a company official said.

Managing Director Kim Sung Kook told Petromindo.Com on Thursday that the firm's production stood at 14.05 million tons in 2003 versus 11.50 million tons in 2002. The company plans to produce 15 million tons in 2004.

Kideco is a subsidiary of Sam Tan Co. Ltd of South Korea. (Alex)
