Kideco, TETOL in coal supply talks

Slovenian cogeneration firm Termoelektrarna Toplarna Ljubljana (TETOL) is in talks to buy coal from East Kalimantan firm PT Kideco Jaya Agung, a government official said on Wednesday.

Director General of Mineral, Coal and Geothermal Bambang Setiawan told reporters that TETOL is planning to buy 500,000 tonnes of Kideco?s coal per annum to meet its coal requirement.

He did not give further detail.

Kideco?s Senior Marketing Manager Harry Trimulyadi told Petromindo.Com that the deal is currently being negotiated and final decision is expected to be reached next week. (godang)
