Killara engages Berkah Ciwi to commence production

ASX-listed Killara Resources Limited announced on Friday that it has entered into a binding agreement with mining contractor PT Berkah Ciwi Lestari Kaltim (BCLK) for the further development and coal production from its PT Borneo Emas Hitam coal project, located in East Kalimantan.
BCLK are presently deploying heavy equipment and personnel. The immediate focus will be on over burden removal to expose coal for extraction leading to coal production which is anticipated in th e first quarter of 2014.
BCLK is a subsidiary of PT Buana Celebes. Celebes experience includes nickel mining in Pomala, Sulawesi Tenggara and coal projects located in Grogot and Bentuas, East Kalimantan (as a mining contractor for Alamoudi Resources).
