Jambi coal miner PT Kuansing Inti Makmur (KIM), a coal unit of Sinarmas Group?s PT Golden Energy, aims to produce around 2 million tons of coal this year, up from last year?s output of 1.5 million tons, an official at the company told Petromindo.com
As of March, KIM has produced around 500,000 tons of coal, the source said.
?We surely shall surpass last year's output, because as of November, KIM would have produced about 1.5 million tons, higher compared to last year?s total output of 1.48 million tons,? the official who declined to be named said.
KIM has four coal units in Bungo regency with combined proven and probable reserve as of Dec 2012, reached 35.8 million tons
