Kingsrose completes SAG mill installation at Lampung gold project

Australian mining firm Kingsrose Mining Limited reported Thursday that the installation and commissioning of the SAG mill at the company's Way Linggo Gold Project, Lampung, has been successfully completed.

The SAG mill replaces the secondary crushing circuit and removes materials handling bottlenecks associated with the wet-sticky clay component of the ore.

The company is targeting steady-state production of 45,000 oz per annum of gold and 500,000 oz per annum of silver.

The plant now has installed grinding capacity that could see capacity increase to 200,000 tons per annum with some minor additional plant modifications. This puts the company in good stead for future production growth as it aggressively explores the new high grade discovery at Talang Santo, it said. (alex)
