Kingsrose secures in-principle forestry permit for its second gold mine

ASX-listed Kingsrose Mining Limited said that it has secured in-principle forestry permit over the 91 hectares of its second mine, Talang Santo, at Way Linggo Project in southern Sumatra.

The permit, which has been granted to Kingsrose?s 85 percent-owned Indonesian subsidiary, PT Natarang Mining, would cover all mining activities and infrastructure associated with Talang Santo and future expansion in the vicinity of the mine, according to its statement to ASX.

The company is currently waiting final borrow and use of forest area permit with full-scale mining activities at Talang Santo planned to recommence in February 2013.
