Kingsrose to complete commissioning stage at Lampung gold project

Australian firm Kingsrose Mining Limited announced Monday that the commissioning of the process plant at the Way Linggo gold/silver project in Lampung province is proceeding well and near completion.

Below is a summary of the commissioning status of the various plant processes: Crushing circuit (100%), Milling circuit (100%), Leach circuit (100%), CCD thickener circuit (100%), Merrill Crowe circuit - working but flow rate modifications not yet finalized and Gold Room (100%), the company said in statement

Further analysis has shown that the ore has impressive mineral characteristics with respect to gold sizing distribution and, is amenable to rapid leaching. For medium grade ore, 54% of gold content is reporting to <150 ?m fraction and the rate for high grade ore is 41%, it said.

There is currently 25,700 tonnes of ore stockpiled on surface contained gold and silver worth around US$21 million at current metal prices, it added.

In May, the company secured forestry permit, a valid period of 20 years for its Way Linggo gold project. The Company expects first pour in the first half of July this year.

The Way Linggo project is expected to produce over 45,000 gold ounces per annum at a cash cost of approximately USD150/oz, includes ongoing underground mine development costs, payable royalties and silver by-product credits. (kanti)
