KIS Group to invest $500m to develop biogas projects in Indonesia

Indian biogas developer KIS Group through its Indonesian unit PT KIS Biofuels Indonesia is embarking on an ambitious plan to invest more than USD500 million to develop 100 biogas/biomethane/bio-LNG projects in Indonesia by 2030.

According to the KIS Group social media account updated on Wednesday, the company will soon inaugurate its second bio-CNG plant in Indonesia. This project built on DBOOM (Design Build Own Operate & Manage) will be the largest BioCNG plant in Indonesia and Southeast Asia.

The company is also currently in the process of constructing the third bio-CNG plant.
