Indian clean energy firm Knowledge Integration Services (KIS Group) has signed a BioLNG supply agreement with Shell Eastern Trading (Pte) Ltd. Under the agreement, KIS will supply BioLNG to Shell starting in 2027 for regasification and distribution to customers in Singapore.
The agreement was signed on September 12, 2025.
The agreement represents the first phase of a strategic framework to meet growing demand for renewable natural gas (RNG) and methane capture. BioLNG is a renewable fuel produced from organic waste that would otherwise emit methane and can be used as a drop-in replacement for conventional LNG, reducing lifecycle carbon emissions without major infrastructure modifications.

KIS Group has over 20 years of experience in biomethane and clean energy solutions, operating Southeast Asia’s largest BioCNG plant, treating 5 million tons of organic waste annually, generating 600 million m³ of biogas per year, and reducing 5.9 million tons of carbon emissions globally.
