Knightbridge Resources to build small smelter

Singapore based Knightbridge Resources Pte Ltd is planning to build a small nickel smelter in Indonesia.
Lawrence Kallet, Executive Vice President Knightbridge Resources Pte Ltd told Petromindo.com recently that the company is currently working closely with Indonesia nickel mining company PT Tiga Baji Mining and Energy to develop the project.
Kallet revealed that the project will need about US$30-50 million of investment.
"We are currently still studying the model of the smelter. (Hopefully) it can accommodate (the need of) small miners especially in Sulawesi," he said adding that since the size is small, similar smelters can be built in multiple locations.
