KNOC to start E. Java, Arafura drilling campaign in 2005

Korea National Oil Corp. (KNOC) will start drilling campaigns in offshore East Java and Papua in the third quarter of 2005, according to bid announcement issued by the company.
KNOC said drilling campaign would commence in Northeast Madura-1 block offshore East Java and in Wokam block in Arafura Sea offshore Papua.
The announcement did not say the number of wells the company planned to drill in those concession areas.(alex)
