Knowledge Infrastructure to up Indonesian coal import

Knowledge Infrastructure System Pvt., one of India's largest trading firm targets to increase Indonesian coal import to 5.5 million tonnes in April 2010-March 2011 fiscal year.

In April 2009-March 2010 period, the company will import 4 million tonnes of Indonesian coal, Rahul Bhandare, Chairman & Managing Director told Petromindo.Com on a sideline of McCloskey Asia Pacific Coal Conference in Bali on Thursday.

He declined to disclose the company?s clients but said 80 percent of Indonesian coal imported by the company would be sold to Indian market and the rest to Asian market. (denny)
