KOMIPO opens tender for one million tons per annum of bituminous coal

For Bituminous Coal for Boryeong Thermal Power Plant
1. Bid No. : KOMIPO-Coal-2007-LT01
2. Material and Quantity to be Procured
- Material : Bituminous Coal
- Quantity : 1,000,000MT per annum
[Spec 1] NAR min. 5,600kcal/kg (VM 22% ~ 36%)
[Spec 2] NAR min. 5,350kcal/kg (VM max 45%)
- Bidders shall offer at least 250,000MT up to a total of 1,000,000MT.
- Total awarded quantity for Spec1 and Spec2 will be varied upon the bidder's proposal.
3. Term of the Contract : April 1, 2007 ~ March 31, 2010
4. Procurement Method: International Open Bidding
5. Deadline for Bidding : 3:00 p.m. on January 22, 2007 (Korean Standard Time).
6. Qualification of Bidder : Coal producers, marketing companies or traders those who shall meet the whole requirement of ITB including but not limited to coal quality specification, shipping schedule, quality, etc.
