Komodo Energy plans 2D seismic in Babai block

Komodo Energy (KE) Babai Tanjung, which operates the Babai block in Barito Timur, Central Kalimantan Province, plans to carry out a 300-km 2D seismic survey in the block.
Wisnu Prabawa Tahar, Head of Formality and Public Relations Division at upstream oil and gas authority SKK Migas, said on Monday that the seismic survey is scheduled to be implemented in early 2018. No further details were provided.
The Babai block is located onshore Central Kalimantan Province and covers a total area 3,673 sq km. The block was awarded on July 20, 2012.
