Kondur Petroleum S.A. is on negotiation to sell gas from its Malaca Strait PSC to Pertamina-Bumi Siak Pusako BOB.

"They are negotiating on a possible supply of around 5-10 MMCFCD," Fathur Rohman, a division head of oil and gas upstream regulator BPMIGAS told Petromindo.com on Saturday.

Fathur said the gas would be supplied through an underwater pipeline. The gas field is located offshore Riau province while the oil field operated by the Pertamina-Bumi Siak Pusako BOB is located onshore in the province.

"Negotiation could be tough when it comes to price," Fathur said.

Currently, Malacca Strait PSC produces around 9,500 bopd.

Malaca Strait 60.49% Kondur Petroleum S.A. (34.46%) as operator, PT Imbang Tata Alam (26.03%), OOGC Malacca Limited (32.58%) dan Malacca Petroleum Limited (6.93%). (godang)
