Kondur Petroleum SA, a subsidiary of PT Energi Mega Persada Tbk (EMP) said it is ready to deliver gas to its buyer, the Joint Operating Body of PT Bumi Siak Pusako and PT Pertamina Hulu Energi (JOB BSP-PHE) as the Gas Sales Facility in Kuat field within the Malacca Strait block has been completed.

EMP?s Investor Relations Herwin W. Hidayat told Petromindo.com on Monday that the gas price and daily gas volume to the buyer is in the process of finalization.

Kondur signed a gas sales agreement (GSA) with the JOB BSP-PHE on Aug. 30, 2010.

According to previous reports, JOB BSP-PHE will use the gas as fuel for its power plant in Riau.

It remains unclear why Herwin said the gas price and volume have not been decided yet. On Feb. 16, 2012, Petromindo quoted EMP?s Senior Manager for General Affairs, Herru Hardono, as saying that the JOB will receive 8.2 million British thermal unit (mmbtu) under the sales and purchase agreement, while the price is fixed at US$4.94 per mmbtu.
