Kondur to supply gas to CPP block

Kondur Petroleum S.A, a unit of IDX-listed oil, gas firm PT Energi Mega Persada (EMP) has signed gas sales agreement (GSA) with PT Bumi Siak Pusako-Pertamina Hulu Energi Joint Operation Body (BSP-PHE JOB).

Under the deal, Kondur, which operates Malacca Strait Block, will supply 9MMCFD of gas, or about 1,500 BOEPD from Kuat field to CPP Block in Riau-which is operated by BSP-PHE JOB- from mid-2012 until 2010.

Gas will be supplied through the planned 26 kilometers pipeline.

Gas from Kuat field will fuel the 30MW power plant that will power oil pumps in CPP Block.

Currently Malacca Strait PSC produces 7,500 BPD of oil.(godang)
