Konsortium Logistik bags RM120m shipping order

Malaysian firm Konsortium Logistik Berhad announced on Thursday that its wholly-owned subsidiary PNSL Berhad has on 31 May 2012 accepted an award of Contract of Affreightment (COA) for carriage of bulk coal.
The COA involves the transportation of bulk coal from port of loading in Indonesia, South Africa and Australia to various coal-fired power plants in Malaysia.
The contract will start May 2012 to April 2015 with value of around RM 120 million.
The company did not disclose further detail.
