The management of the giant coal mining firm PT Kaltim Prima Coal (KPC) has asked its foreign staffs not to travel out of Sangatta, the location of the company?s mining operation in East Kalimantan, as precautionary measures amid reports of threat from Muslim radical groups against U.S. citizens following attack on Afghanistan.
The Kaltim Post daily quoted company spokesman Mochammad Chairul as saying that although KPC foreign staffs were mostly from Australia, not U.S., the anti-U.S. groups might not be able to make a different.(*)
