KPC lambasted for not being supportive to local administration

The coal mining giant PT Kaltim Prima Coal (KPC) had been criticized by East Kutai Regent Awang Faroek Ishak for often not being supportive to the local administration, the local Kaltim Post daily reported Thursday.

Awang said in a recent press conference, which was also attended by local senior lawmakers, that the administration had often find difficulties in borrowing the facility of KPC such as its auditorium.

KPC operates a huge mining site in Sangatta, East Kutai regency, in East Kalimantan.(*)
